Christmas Lives!

As you can see Christmas is still going strong in my house. We've been so busy trying to fit in all the family stuff that all our decorations are still up and about. I absolutely love the candy cane stripe decorations.

The lighting was pretty poor in our hallway so the picture ended up with a bit of noise from the high ISO. I wanted to play with the angle a little to give a different perspective to something so mundane.

Numero Uno

I went out for coffee and a wonderful walk with my two closest friends from high school this morning. The three of us haven't been able to get together for a long time, so this was a nice short but sweet get together. I almost missed this shot, but one of the ducks caught my eye as we walked by and I just had to capture it.

I shot this on a grey early afternoon with my Sony Cybershot I bought last year. It's been a great point and shoot. This was one of three point and shoots that had a viewfinder for me to choose from. Sigh.
